Vitasan 10 is a mold, mildew and spew inhibitors on grains and splits used on suede, glove, shoe, boot and upholstery leather – either chrome or vegetable tanned. Vitasan 10 is made to provide complete coverage for the tanning and leather industry. From the wet-end, through finishing and the leather products industries. Vitasan 10 will stop mold, mildew and spew for many years under the most adverse conditions. The formulation for manufacturing Vitasan 10 renders the fungicide non-volatile, reduces its toxicity to extremely low levels and broadens the anti-microbial spectrum. Vitasan 10 is not a skin sensitizer nor is it considered corrosive. Application of Vitasan 10 should not affect dyes, or change the final color of the leather. Vitasan 10 is used successfully on cattle, pig, sheep, deer and exotic skins where problems from natural fats and or oils present a problem.

Vitasols – For the Prevention and Removal of Spew
Vitasols are spew inhibitors used on grains and splits. Either chrome or vegetable tanned sued, glove, shoe, boot, garment, upholstery and exotic skins. Vitasols also aid in water repellency and water spotting. Vitasols are not skin senstizers or corrosive.
Vitasols are formulated by the same process as the Vitasan 10, but without the fungicides. The process provides the Vitasols with the ability to remove and prevent spew(without the mold and mildew inhibiting properties) when exposed to the most advers conditions over long periods of time.
Vitasols bond uniformly with the hide fibers and will not migrate, aids in fixing and uniformly distributing the coloring and tanning materials. Vitasols do not wash out, wring out or leach out. The Vitasols should not change the final color of the leather or affect the dyes. The Vitasols have been used on pastel and full colors from suede to heavy boot leathers. The Vitasols are used successfully on cattle, pig, sheep, deer and exotic skins where problems from natural fats and or oil present a problem. Vitasol is available in two types:
Vitasol 10 – for inclusion in the fatliquor process
Vitasol 25 – for application on crusted or finished leather and leather products. |
